Go green with e-statements

Help American 1 go green by signing up for e-statements instead of paper statements.  E-statements let you check your account statements at home, on vacation, or anywhere there’s an Internet connection.  You can view check copies and balance your accounts all from within American 1’s online banking system.

E-statements are free, and the environmentally-friendly way to manage your account.  Ask about e-statements at any branch, or enroll today by clicking on the “History” tab within home banking.

Mobile ATM available to area events

American 1 is making its new Mobile ATM available to local event organizers.

The trailer-sized ATM features a wireless connection and provides banking services to event attendees with a debit, credit, or ATM card.  American 1 members and non-members can use the machine at no-surcharge from American 1 Federal Credit Union.

To reserve American 1's Mobile ATM, download our application sheet and send it back!

American 1 is safe

Your money is safe with American 1

Are you worried about your deposits at American 1?  Don’t be.  Thanks to the National Credit Union Administration, your deposits are now insured up to $250,000.  Much like the FDIC for banks, the NCUA is a federal agency that insures your deposits and retirement accounts.  Should something happen, your deposits are protected.

American 1 is in sound financial shape.  We are still active in our community, able to provide loan rebates to our members, and growing in membership.  We’re not going anywhere.  If you have any questions about how the NCUA protects your funds, visit the NCUA's web site — or visit an American 1 branch and we’ll answer your questions.

Here are some tools and resources to help you figure out why your money is safe.

NCUA Toolkit - Good information from the National Credit Union Administration on the safety of credit unions.

NCUA Share Insurance Estimator - Helps calculate your NCUSIF deposit and retirement insurance coverage.

Financial News - Posts from our blog about the financial system shakeups.

BankRate.com - American 1's rating is put out there for everyone to see.
